Position: Senior Scheduler – Airside / Landside
Overview
Join our team as a Senior Scheduler, where you will play a pivotal role in managing and analyzing complex scheduling components for large-scale airside and landside projects. This position focuses on schedule oversight, compliance, and proactive problem-solving to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Development & Oversight: Prepare and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment with contract milestones and requirements.
- Contractor Collaboration: Review contractor schedules for compliance, provide feedback, and support revisions without impacting the contractor's sequence of operations.
- Schedule Integrity: Preserve baseline schedules, track approved changes, and ensure accurate updates with verified status information.
- Issue Resolution: Identify scheduling conflicts, analyze potential impacts, and recommend solutions to minimize delays.
- Field Verification: Perform site visits to confirm schedule data accuracy and compliance with project milestones.
- Forensic Analysis: Conduct schedule impact assessments for change orders and develop alternative solutions to resolve delays.
- Reporting & Coordination: Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports to Area Construction Managers (ACMs) and Resident Engineers (REs). Facilitate corrective actions and align schedules with project goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 10–15 years in construction scheduling, focusing on civil engineering or horizontal construction projects such as flat concrete pouring, utility installations, grading, and road construction.
- Certifications: CPSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional) preferred. OSHA 10-Hour safety training preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling tools such as Primavera (P6) and PMWeb.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and report-writing abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Proven track record of hands-on field experience in large-scale design-procurement-construction projects.
- Verifiable history with U.S. or international construction companies specializing in civil engineering and horizontal construction activities.
